Montini Catholic Announces Volleyball Captains
Montini Catholic High School’s Head Volleyball Coach, Steve Dowjotas, chose senior Kyle Hodyl and junior Joyce Balash to lead the girls volleyball team through the 2012 season. Coach Dowjotas and his Lady Broncos opened the 2012 season on Wednesday, August 22 with victories over Kaneland (25-16; 25-13) and Oak Forest (25-19; 25-21) at the Blue and Gold Invitational hosted by Wheaton North.
Kyle Hodyl is a high honor student (Class of 2013) from Wheaton. She is a team setter, a member of the Spanish National Honor Society, Lasallian Youth Group, Math Team, Spanish Club and a student ambassador.
Joyce Balash is a high honor student (Class of 2014) from Downers Grove. She is middle-hitter for the team and a member of the National Honor Society.
